Aaron “Aj” Kofi Ellis Appiah Jr.

Aaron K. Appiah Jr. is an associate in Conroy Simberg’s Jacksonville office. He is a member of the firm’s General Liability division, where he handles a wide range of insurance defense cases, including automobile accidents, construction litigation, and premises liability. 

Aaron received a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2018. Aaron then moved to Gainesville, FL and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2021. 

Prior to joining Conroy Simberg, Aaron was an Assistant State Attorney in Duval County for three and a half years where he prosecuted criminal cases on behalf of the State. As an Assistant State Attorney, Aaron started in County Court and then was promoted to Circuit Court. While working as an Assistant State Attorney, Aaron gained valuable trial experience, motion practice, and learned negotiation tactics from negotiations with opposing counsel. Aaron served as the first chair attorney or equal counsel on fifteen cases that proceeded to a jury trial and reached a verdict.
