Samuel E. Cooley is a member of the firm’s General Liability practice group defending a broad range of insurance defense cases, including premises liability, automobile liability, construction litigation, and professional liability cases. He has also practiced in the area of commercial litigation and intellectual property. Samuel joined Conroy Simberg after two years as an in-house counsel. Prior to that, he was a partner at a boutique litigation firm in Los Angeles, California after having served for nearly seven years at a prestigious mid-sized national insurance defense firm. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in American Studies, Magna Cum Laude, from Vanderbilt University, Samuel moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, where he earned a Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law and served as an Associate Justice of the Moot Court Board.
